FCCC Clayton

First Class Childcare Centre Clayton is housed within an old Wesleyan Church built around the turn of the century, it was opened in 1989, and First Class Child Care took over the nursery in 1998.

No expense was spared when this unique stone building was renovated to provide a First Class environment for the children who attend this excellent facility. The entrance and internal doors have security key pads. All doors are protected by finger shield guards to avoid trapped fingers and all floor surfacing is designed to be non slip.

With the downstairs housing our Butterfly Babies, the older children can have their own space in the Busy Bees and Wise Owls pre-school rooms making this a 48 place nursery where small groups ensure each child's individual needs are met.

The centre also provides a 16 place Out of School service for children attending local schools.

It is situated in the centre of a small bustling community, Clayton-le-Moors close to the local shops and library. It is ideally located for parents who commute to Blackburn, Preston, Manchester and beyond by joining the motorway network at junction 7 on the M65 or the M66, and also for commuting from Clitheroe, Whalley and Great Harwood.
