Out of School Clubs

At First Class Childcare Centres we offer support to families who have a busy working schedule.

Over the years we have found that parents seek continuity of care for their children and value greatly the Out of School service which we provide.

We aim to promote a friendly relaxed stress free environment for both the children and the staff.  Our team of staff are working towards this goal by maintaining discipline through discussions and understanding from the children, parents and staff.

Our Out of school club caters for 4 year olds (reception) - 9 year olds (year 4)  before and after school and also during most school holidays.

The club has a programme of activities designed to enable children to have fun with their friends in a structured and supervised environment.

Activities include:

  • Sports activities, football, basketball, team games.
  • Dance and drama and role play.
  • Craft activities, model making, mosaics, jewellery, pottery, collage and painting.
  • Quiet activities, such as cards, board games, jigsaws, crayoning and reading.

Children who attend the After School Club are given a snack during the session. Our menus reflect our Food Management Policy which incorporates Smiling for Life.

We encourage the children who attend to contribute to the planning of activities within the week as we feel it is important that the children feel that the club belongs to them.
